Jean joined Cleveland, Duble & Arnold in 2004 as our Office Administrator, having had a similar position at a large franchise real estate firm in Greenwich, Gartner Group and other companies. Later that year she got her real estate license and added Realtor Associate to her role here. As a third-generation Greenwich resident, born and raised in Old Greenwich, she attended Greenwich Public Schools, the University of Connecticut, and Katherine Gibbs, where she received a Business Administration Certificate. Her roots in Greenwich are deep – her great-grandmother Caroline Ruutz-Rees founded the Rosemary Hall School for girls in Greenwich in the 19th century. It is now known as Choate-Rosemary Hall and is located in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Jean met her husband in Mill Valley, California, where she lived for five years before returning to Greenwich in 1999. They live in Riverside and have two small sons. She is Immediate Past President of the Old Greenwich Lion’s Club International, as well as its publicity and membership chair.
